Holiday Card Round Up

The countdown to the holiday season is upon us. I’ve been Christmas shopping like crazy. I haven’t sent mine out yet, but I’ve already receivedĀ a few cards in the mail. Here are a few of our favorite holiday cards from Etsy.

Crafting at Downton

I don’t know what to do with myself since catching up on Downton Abbey. These Downton inspired crafts will have to tide me over for now.

Papercuts (the good kind)

I have been really amazed by some of the paper cutting I’ve seen lately. I’m in awe of the delicate cutting and patience these works involve. I know I’m much too clumsy to ever even attempt paper cutting, but they’re inspiring nonetheless.

Business Cards

As I mentioned last week, I was working on using maps for a project that I’ve now completed – our new business cards. Originally, Mary and I were just going to buy some, but the designs all felt cookie-cuttery and with our thriftiness kicking in on top of that, we decided to make our own.

We bought paper from French Paper, picked up some maps of Michigan, and with a stamp we already owned, pieced together the new business cards. The design is simple, but we like it and felt the craftiness of it suited our business well.
